Kentucky’s vocal sensation, The Acoustikats, will perform in Memphis, TN for Graceland’s annual “Elvis Week” celebration. The Acoustikats take the main stage to perform two different 60-minute shows, along with four of America’s top scholastic a cappella groups – University of Florida’s All-Night Yahtzee, The James Madison University Bluestones, the Vanderbilt Melodores, and Briarcrest OneVoice.

The Acoustikats, founded in 1993 by Dr. Jefferson Johnson, is a contemporary a cappella ensemble comprised of all-male voices. The group has performed around the world, most recently catching their big break on NBC’s fourth season of “The Sing-Off.”

The ensemble consists of eleven esteemed members:

Lexington, KY, November 18, 2013– The Acoustikats, from the University of Kentucky, are headed to Los Angeles, CA to compete for a $100,000 prize and a Sony Music Recording Contract in Season 4 of NBC’s hit show, “The Sing-Off.” The Acoustikats are one of only ten groups chosen to compete in this special seven-episode series starting December 9th at 9 pm EST on NBC.
